Add Intro Page
The Intro Page is an introduction page that is not a part of the original PDF, and does not flip like the PDF does, but remains stationary. You will upload a single page PDF. Just like with the actual PDF file, the intro page specs should be the same size as the rest of the PDF. The purpose of the intro page is to provide instructions or other pertinent information pertaining to your digital edition.
To add the intro page, choose Custom in the drop down menu:
Upload your file.
Once it is uploaded, you can add links or video clips, as you would for the rest of the digital edition. View the sample intro page below:
Copy Intro Page
You can also copy the intro page from one edition to another. This is helpful if you have to re-upload the PDF file or if you want to use the same intro page for each edition.
To do this, first make sure to choose the right template and edition to which you wish to copy the intro page:
You want to select the correct edition so that you can copy the existing intro page to the new edition.
Next, choose From Existing in the drop down menu:
In the Selected Image box, click on the arrow to reveal the images that you can select:
*The green highlighted box indicates that you can type in term that you have named the image.
*The red highlighted box shows the actual image selected for this example.
Once you select the image, it will populate in the Selected Image box:
You can choose to Copy To all the editions in the template by selecting Copy All. Or, you can leave that box unchecked and merely copy the intro page to one edition.
Once you have decided where the intro page will be copied to, press the orange Copy to selected editions button.
And your intro page is now copied to the next edition!
