Add Intro Page

How to Add an Intro Page

The Intro Page is a static introduction page that is not part of the original PDF. Unlike the rest of the PDF, this page does not flip and stays fixed on screen. It is commonly used to display instructions, welcome pages, overview, or other important information related to your digital edition.

File Specifications:

  • Needs to be a single-page PDF.

  • The dimensions of the intro page should match the size of your main PDF file.

Steps to Add an Intro Page:

  1. Go to Edition Tools.


  1. Select your Template and the desired Edition.



  1. Click Add Intro Page tab


  1. In the drop-down menu, choose Custom.



  1. Upload your single-page PDF.

Once the file is uploaded, you can:

  • Add links

  • Embed video clips

Just like you would for any other page in the digital edition.


Copying an Intro Page from One Edition to Another

You also have the option to reuse an existing Intro Page. This is helpful when:

  • Re-uploading a PDF file

  • Using the same Intro Page across multiple editions

Reuse an Intro Page:

  1. Go to Edition Tools.


  1. Select your Template and the desired Edition.



  1. Click Add Intro Page tab


  1. In the drop-down menu, choose From Existing.

  2. In the Selected Image box, click the arrow to view available images.



Copy to One or All Editions

  • To copy the Intro Page to all editions in the template, check the box labelled Copy All.
  • To copy it to just one edition, click one edition then click Copy to selected editions.
