DCatalog makes it easy to showcase your digital editions directly on your website. Whether you want to embed specific editions or always show the latest one, or display your full virtual library, this guide walks you through each option.
There are several ways to embed your content depending on how you'd like it to appear and function on your website. Below is an overview of the three main embedding methods you can choose from:
Embed a specific edition or always show the most recent one, directly inside your website. This method uses an iframe and is the most straightforward way to display your catalog.
Selected Edition: You can choose a specific edition to embed.
Once selected, the catalog will display that exact edition on your website.
Latest Edition: This option automatically displays the most recent edition from your template.
You don't have to update the embed code manually whenever a new edition is published. Your website will always show the latest version, ensuring visitors see the most up-to-date content.
Go to your Dashboard and locate the edition you want to embed.
Click on the Embed button under the Embed Column
Choose between:
Selected Edition – to embed that specific edition.
Latest Edition – to always show the most recent edition in your template.

HTML Masking is similar to the Embed option, but with one main difference: instead of inserting the catalog as part of an existing HTML page, masking loads the catalog as a standalone page under your own domain.
Selected Edition: Embed a specific edition with the same functionality as HTML Embed.
Latest Edition: Automatically displays the latest edition in your DCatalog template without needing updates.
