Uploading a CSV File to Update Order Form Technology
🧾 What Is Order Form Technology?
Order Form Technology allows clients to place an order directly from a digital catalog by selecting their preferred products. Once submitted, the company receives the request, and the client gets a confirmation email with the order details.
In this article, we’ll walk you through how to link your products to the order form using a CSV file
🧩 Which Upload Method Applies to You?
The way you’ll upload product links depends on how your Order Form is configured and this is set up by the platform based on your needs.
There are two possible setups:
Basic Order Form: If your platform uses a basic order form (Without Product Management), product data is uploaded directly into each edition using the Multimedia Manager.
Advanced Order Form: If your order form is more advanced, your platform will include the Product Management tool, where you will manage and link products.
Uploading via Multimedia Manager (Basic Order Form)
Use this method if your platform doesn’t include the Product Management feature.
Go to Multimedia Manager
Select your Template
Choose the appropriate Edition
Open the Advanced Tool
Click Import Products from File
Upload a CSV file with the following format:
Column 1: SKU (product code or unique identifier)
Column 2: Product description
Column 3: Tooltip (optional if omitted, the description will be used as the tooltip)
Click on Import and the products will be automatically linked to that edition’s order form.
Lastly, Save your Edition
Uploading via Product Management (Advanced Order Form)
If your platform includes Product Management, this is the method you’ll use to manage and link your product data.
This tool centralizes all your product information in one place, allowing you to reuse the same data across multiple catalogs. It also gives you the flexibility to make small updates, like editing a product or adding one manually, without needing to reupload a full CSV.
Bulk Upload Using a CSV
To upload a large number of products efficiently:
From your main menu, go to Product Management
Click Upload Products
Select the Template where your product data will be used
Download the previous CSV or check your order form required fields to ensure your new file matches the correct format.
Upload your CSV
Select the checkboxes below if needed:
Remove existing product links
Update existing product links
Click Upload Products
Once completed, your products will appear in the Product List, and all matching products found in your template’s catalogs will be automatically linked.
Manually Add or Edit a Single Product
For smaller changes:
Search your product
Edit or remove using the buttons below:
To add one product:
Go to Product Management > Product List
Click Add New Product
Fill in the product details and save
