📊 Tracking Link Interactions by Type (Icon, Rectangle, or Polygon)
DCatalog tracks link performance based on link shape—helping you analyze which type drives more interactions. This can guide your decision on whether to keep using all link types or consolidate to the best-performing one.
✅ How to View Link Interaction Data by Type
Go to your Dashboard and open My Analytics:

Select DCatalog Analytics:

Choose the Template, Edition, and Date Range you want to analyze.:

Click the “Events” tab:

In the “Count Link-Event By” dropdown, choose Link Shape.

🎯 What to Look For
If you have a Shoppable Catalog, look for the “Open Product Popup” event. This shows a breakdown of interactions by shape: Icon, Rectangle, or Polygon.

If you don’t have a shoppable integration, look for the “Open URL Link” event instead. You’ll see the same breakdown by link type.
