What Is a Shoppable Catalog?

A shoppable catalog allows customers to interact with the catalog directly on your website and easily add items to their cart or make a purchase. A shopping icon is added and when clicked, it opens a pop up where users can make a purchase.

These catalogs are linked to the your shopping site, but the implementation varies depending on the e-commerce platform:

  1. Shopify uses a handle key for product items.
  2. BigCommerce uses a product ID.
  3. Magento uses an SKU.
