Why am I getting 'no results found' when using the search button?

Search returns no results

For the search feature to work, the PDF must contain selectable and searchable text. If the pages are scanned or saved as images, the system cannot read the text, which results in no search results.

Solution: If your PDF is image-based, run OCR (Optical Character Recognition) on the file before uploading it. This will convert the text into a searchable format. For more information click here.

How to check if your PDF has searchable text:

Try selecting text in the PDF with your cursor. If you can't highlight or copy text, the file is likely image-based and needs OCR processing.
