If I set a schedule date for my new catalog to go live, will it override and automatically turn off the old catalog or do I need an expiration date for the old one?
The answer to this question depends on two possibilities.
If the catalog is embedded in your website and you are using the latest edition of the codeā¦ then yes, the catalog will be replaced with the latest active edition.
Another possibility is if the editions both have the same name, then the new edition overwrites the old one.
However, if you didn't set up the schedule to expire, the old edition is still going to be active. So, make sure when you schedule the editions, you are creating a start and end date.
